Following her own reconciliation with her elder daughter, Lynne Spears is reportedly making it her goal to broker a truce between the pop singer and her younger sister.

AceShowbiz - Lynne Spears is apparently looking to bring her family back together after years of estrangement. Following her own reconciliation with Britney Spears, the author is reportedly "begging" her elder daughter to patch things up with her sister Jamie Lynn Spears.
The siblings became embroiled in a bitter and public feud amid the pop superstar's 13-year conservatorship. Now that she's finally able to personally reach out to her daughter Britney, Lynne allegedly "will not rest" until she brokers a truce between her two daughters.
"Lynne is begging Britney to make amends with her sister Jamie Lynn now," a so-called insider tells Daily Mail. "They are both leaning towards a yes. Lynne knows that Britney does miss her sister and she told her that the feeling is obviously mutual."
But Lynne realizes that making this happen will take some efforts. "Britney still feels that Jamie Lynn is the one who messed up and, if they are going to meet, she would need to come to her and not vise versa," the source explains, adding, "Lynne is figuring out now how to make this happen, but she is not going to rest until everything is perfect again."
"Lynne knows that it still will take time to get back on the same page and fall into all the right places their relationship needs to be," the source goes on noting. "But she loves Britney more than anything and clearing up the wounds of the past is something she has strived to achieve for a long time."
The source says Lynne is trying her best to ease into the situation by taking it one day at a time. "Lynne also understands that there is more of a process to go through, but she is showing 100 percent effort to make sure that her own relationship with Britney continues to strengthen," the source shares.
Sharing their optimism about the siblings' reconciliation, the source says, "With all of the drama that they have dealt with in the last couple of years with each other, Lynne's recent meeting with Britney was a promising step in the right direction for better days ahead."
Lynne was seen visiting her daughter Britney in Los Angeles on May 24. Following their reunion, the "Lucky" singer took to social media to express her feelings. "My sweet mama showed up at my door step yesterday after 3 years ... it's been such a long time," she wrote on Instagram.
"With family there's always things that need to be worked out … but time heals all wounds !!!" the 41-year-old continued. "And after being able to communicate what I've held in for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed we were able to try to make things RIGHT !!!I love you so much !!"
Following their meeting in L.A., Britney and Lynne are said to "have been in constant communication since."
