The 'Mission: Impossible' actor allegedly has his ego 'dented' after the Columbian singer seemingly rejected his advances to be with the seven-time F1 world champion.

AceShowbiz - Tom Cruise is apparently heartbroken. If a new report is to be believed, the "Top Gun: Maverick" actor was left "frustrated" after discovering Shakira and Lewis Hamilton's alleged budding romance following her split from ex-Barcelona defender Gerard Pique.
According to The Mirror, Lewis is in a "love triangle" with the "Hips Don't Lie" hitmaker and the Hollywood star. The "Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One" actor is allegedly romantically interested in Shakira and has been "flirting" with the Colombian-born singer before she became involved with the seven-time F1 world champion.
The actor allegedly believed he had "incredible chemistry" with Shakira after the two hung out together at the Miami Grand Prix last month. It was also said that Tom was "taking it as a slam dunk they'd be dating in no time."
However, the 60-year-old now has his ego "dented" after the mom of two seemingly rejected his advances to be with Lewis. "It was a huge dent to Tom's ego, it stung all the more because he considers Lewis a buddy," another source told Radar Online.
Shakira was previously said to laugh off romance rumors between her and Tom, who reportedly "is extremely interested in pursuing" her. A source spilled at the time, "'Shakira had a great time hanging out with Tom at F1 but she has no interest in dating him."
"Tom was really nice and she enjoyed his company, but she isn't focused on dating him or anybody else at the moment. She has a lot on her plate and is focused on her kids and career for now," the source noted. "Shakira has seen the online rumors that Tom has been courting her - and how fans are chiming in with their opinions - but she thinks it's hilarious because it's just not true. She had a fun time when they chatted, but that's as far as things have gone."
However, it seemed like Lewis changed Shakira's mind about dating. A recent report claimed that the 46-year-old songstress is currently enjoying a "fun and flirty" relationship with the 38-year-old race car driver. "They're spending time together and in the 'getting to know you' stage," an insider told PEOPLE. The source further added, "It's fun and flirty."
Shakira and Lewis were previously spotted enjoying a boat ride together in early May. At the time, they were caught on camera being joined by a group of friends, including fencer Miles Chamley-Watson, outside of the songtress' $20 million Miami beach home. Later on Sunday, June 4, the two were spotted together once again as they grabbed dinner in Barcelona, Spain with the likes of Mustafa the Poet and Kendall Jenner's pal Fai Khadra.
