When bringing to attention the unpleasant experience on his podcast, Frank Elaridi stresses that canceling the Hole frontwoman 10 years after the incident was never his intention.

AceShowbiz - Courtney Love has been accused of groping journalist Frank Elaridi without consent. Around a decade after the incident was alleged to have taken place, the Hole frontwoman was exposed by the journalist, who worked for "Nightline", to have grabbed his crotch "really hard."

Frank brought up his unpleasant experience on his "Quite Frankly" podcast when he was discussing with a musician named Nahko, who was in 2021 accused of sexual abuse, about double standard. He began recalling, "I think I was like 24 or something at the time - naive. They send me to Coachella to go do an interview with her."

Offering further details of the incident in the Thursday, May 18 episode of his podcast, Frank continued, "I'm at her afterparty, interviewing her in a side room, and then she's like, 'Come hang out with us!' We take a photo together, and the second the photo's done, she grabs my crotch like, really hard. Like, grabs it like that."

"I was caught off guard," Frank went on to admit. He then added, "There's literally a photo 'cause somebody across the room snapped it [and] sent it to me. Her hand is very clearly - like, there's a photo of Courtney Love with her hand squeezing my balls basically."

Frank's guest Nahko reacted to the revelation by asking if Frank wanted to cancel Courtney. In response, the journalist was quick to clarify, "That would never cross my mind to be like, let me go after her now, 10 years later."

Frank additionally stressed, "She's a rockstar in my head, not to justify it or say it's OK, but in my head, that would never cross my mind to do that. [But] maybe we should talk about it, is it because she's a woman and I'm a man?"

When later asked about the reason behind his revelation about Courtney, Frank told PEOPLE that he did not intend to "get her canceled or in trouble, but rather to start a conversation about why these double standards exist between men and women."
