Nine months after her passing in August 2022 following a tragic car crash, the former 'Hung' star is laid to rest by her loved ones in a special and heartfelt ceremony.

AceShowbiz - Anne Heche has been permanently settled on her final resting place. On Mother's Day, nine months after her tragic passing in August 2022 following a fatal car crash, the former "Hung" star was laid to rest by her family and loved ones at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

The late actress' cremated remains were placed at the cemetery's Cathedral Mausoleum, which was reserved for a number of big stars in Hollywood on Sunday afternoon, May 14. It was done during a special and heartfelt ceremony by her loved ones.

"She loved everyone so passionately and deeply and her children, her legacy, thank everyone for their support and love through this difficult time and are grateful to be able to honor their mother, [Sunday] on Mother's Day," a representative for the actress' estate said in a statement.

Anne passed away at the age of 53 in August 2022. Earlier in the same month, she was involved in a terrifying fiery car crash after her blue Mini Cooper slammed into Lynne Mishele's rented Mar Vista home. Due to the incident, she suffered severe burns and had to be intubated.

Unfortunately, just days afterward, the "Spread" actress was declared brain dead and was placed on life support while waiting for medical staffers to determine whether any of her organs are viable for donation. "She was declared brain dead last night but has been kept on life support for organ donation," her rep at the time stated.

On Anne's car crash itself, a spokesperson of LAPD explained in a statement, "The vehicle was heading east on Preston Way at a high rate of speed, entered the T intersection at Preston Way and Walgrove Ave, ran off the road and collided with the residence in the 1700 block of Walgrove. The vehicle became engulfed in flames and the driver was transported to a local hospital by LAFD."

After the accident, Anne was investigated for minor DUI and hit-and-run. Following a blood test, it was discovered that she had cocaine and fentanyl at the time of the car incident.
