It has been reported that the former soccer star's new girlfriend is having an affair behind his back with none other than his close friend and former boss, Pep Guardiola.

AceShowbiz - Maybe it's karma. If a new report is to be believed, Shakira's ex Gerard Pique may taste his own medicine as his new girlfriend Clara Chia is cheating on him with none other than his close friend and former boss, Pep Guardiola.

Spanish media claimed that Clara could have a secret relationship with Pep, the former coach of FC Barcelona. According to Barca Universal, the current coach of Manchester City, with whom Gerard shares a great relationship, knows Chia because his children went to the same school as her.

The report further claimed that Clara's affair with Pep was her way to get even with Gerard, who allegedly went behind her back with a young lawyer named Julia Puig. It was additionally reported that Clara has been living at her parent's house instead of with Gerard.

Neither Gerard nor Clara has commented on the alleged troubles in paradise in their relationship.

Prior to this, Gerard discussed the social media backlash that he received after cheating on Shakira, with whom he shares two kids together. Slamming the "Whenever Whenever" singer and her barbarian fans, the former soccer star explained how he handled public criticism on a Twitch Livestream that was shared via Twitter on Monday, April 3.

"In the beginning, it was bad and it reached a point where if I had let things get to me, I would have thrown myself off a cliff," Gerard shared in his native Spanish. He went on to say that it was his nonchalant attitude that saved his mental health.

The 36-year-old continued, "I am very disappointed with what society is. So my ex is Latin American … you don't know what I've gotten on social media from her fans. These people have no lives. Thousands of barbarities."

He further noted in the April 1 sit-down that "95 percent" of people's issues arise when they "tend to care about things that aren't that important." He said that the only things worth worrying about are "serious health issues, family and relationship," adding, "I don't care about anything, really. It's zero. It's people who don't have lives. How much care should you give them? It's zero. You won't ever know them in real life. They're like robots."
