While she doesn't approve of Adele and Mariah Carey placing above her on the magazine's 200 Greatest Singers of All Time list, the 'I Feel for You' songstress agrees with Aretha Franklin taking the No. 1 spot.

AceShowbiz - Chaka Khan wasn't holding back when addressing Rolling Stone's 200 Greatest Singers of All Time. The "I Feel for You" songstress, who ranked in 29th place on the list, couldn't help but diss a number of musicians like Adele and Mariah Carey.

When speaking on Los Angeles Magazine's "The Originals" podcast, the 69-year-old first claimed that she didn't know about the list at all until host Andrew Goldman congratulated her during the interview. "I didn't even know what the hell you were talking about, so obviously this don't mean a great deal to me," she stated. "These pepole don't quantify or validate me in any way."

Chaka agreed that Aretha Franklin led the list, saying, "As she f**king should be." She also approved of Joan Baez getting placed at No. 189, noting, "[L]et's be honest, the b***h cannot sing. Now she was a good writer."

However, upon learning that Mariah Carey landed at No. 5, Chaka was left in disbelief. "That must be payola or some s**t like that," she argued. When it comes to Adele placing in the 22nd spot, the Rufus lead singer said, "Okay, I quit."

Not stopping there, Chaka also went off on Mary J. Blige, who placed at No. 25. "They [Rolling Stone] are blind as a motherf**king bat! They need hearing aids. These must be the children of Helen Keller!" she fumed.

There were some artists that Chaka believe deserve the ranks, such as Whitney Houston and Beyonce Knowles. Of the late singer, who placed at No. 2, she shared, "Great… I'm the one who introduced her to [music mogul] Clive [Davis]."

"And I introduced her to the business," she added. "I made her mother bring her down to the studio and sing background with me. Her and Luther Vandross. They both sang background for me on my albums."

About Beyonce taking the 8th place, Chaka noted, "I don't have anything to say about Beyonce." The musician, whose real name is Yvette Marie Stevens, further gushed, "She's a great singer… She's got the chops. She does."
