On Sunday, February 26, "The Kardashians" star's stylist Chris Appleton shared on Instagram Stories a video of the cosmetics mogul laughing off her struggle while trying to walk upstairs in tight maxi skirt at Milan Fashion Week.
In the clip, the SKIMS founder was seen walking carefully up each step while rocking a sparkling red Dolce & Gabbana two-piece ensemble and a pair of black high heels. It wasn't a simple task for Kim as the slit at the back of the skirt only gave her slight leeway to climb. "Round two," the TV star said in the video. Meanwhile, Chris was heard encouraging her, "Come on, girl. You got this."
Fans were amused upon watching the video. "Beauty is pain," one person commented with a crying laughing emoji. "No matter what anyone has to say, this is a skillset," someone else added, while a separate commenter noted, "I love how Kim doesn't take herself too seriously and can laugh at herself."
For her stunning look that evening, Kim completed her style with a mini handbag made in the same material. The SKKN founder also wore cross necklaces. In a backstage video for Vogue, the mom of four explained that her D&G number was made circa 1994. She added that it was originally a long dress, explaining they "kind of modernized it a little bit, made it a crop."
This wasn't the first time for a Kardashian-Jenner family member to have a hard time with staircases due to their dresses. Last year, Kim's sister Kendall Jenner experienced similar thing while walking up a flight of brick stairs at Kourtney Kardashian's Portofino, Italy, wedding.
At the time, the 818 Tequila founder also donned a Dolce & Gabbana outfit, which was a stunning tan floral and butterfly-print gown. Filmed by sister Kylie Jenner, a clip saw the model turning her knees inward in order to make her way onward and upward as her dress was a tight fit around her knees. "These stairs are crazy!" Kendall complained.
