In her upcoming music, the South Korean-born artist, who surprises her fans with new music following her months-long hiatus earlier this year, remixes familiar classic song 'William Tell Overture' with a Disney-style Alternative Pop.

AceShowbiz - J.Fla has something unique and exciting to offer for fans after taking a months-long hiatus. The South Korean-born singer, who has the most YouTube subscribers in the country, is teaming up with Taylor Swift's mixing engineer for her upcoming pre-single "The Hare".

"The Hare" is a remix of familiar classing song "William Tell Overture" and Disney-inspired Alternative Pop. The 35-year-old songstress, born Kim Jeong-Hwa, introduced the song as "a cheerful song with interesting lyrics that anyone can easily adhere to that expresses the value of walking slowly and enjoying every moment despite everyone running fast for success."

J.Fla wrote and composed the lyrics herself. In addition to that, she teamed up with 12-time Grammy winner John Hanes, who has been in charge of mixing for Taylor, Lady GaGa, Katy Perry, Bebe Rexha and many other female artists, to mix the overall mood for the song. Chris Gehringer from Sterling Sound is also involved as a mastering engineer.

The track "boasts a nebulous Disney-style atmosphere and a fast-developing plot by overlapping J.Fla's elegant voice to the classic loop of 'William Tell Overture'," per press release. J.Fla sings on the track, "I'm not losing, I'm just trying not to get there super fast."

Earlier this year, J.Fla sparked concern among her fans as she suddenly stopped uploading content. Later, the singer/songwriter announced that she needed a long break due to her health problem.

J.Fla made her return to music earlier this month by releasing her first pre-single titled "Bedroom Singer" on October 6. Following the release of her music, she achieved an impressive result.

Per HITS Daily Double, J.Fla took 3rd place in Shazam's "Biggest Gainers", 35th overall in the U.S. Meanwhile, according to Shazam, she ranked 1st in "Shazam Searches" in Chicago, Atlanta, Charleston and Nashville and entered the Top 200 in 52 U.S. cities. "Bedroom Singer" also debuted 43rd in the Global Alternative Top 100.

As for the iTunes chart, "Bedroom Singer" hit No. 1 on iTunes Alternative chart and No. 13 on iTunes All Genre chart. The song also took No. 1 on Amazon Bestseller in Songs and Amazon Bestseller in Alternative Songs.

J.Fla is known for her YouTube cover of Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You". As for now, the cover, which was uploaded in January 2017, has been played over 330 million times and has since garnered over 3.7 million likes. In 2019, she was awarded "Diamond Play Button" for her YouTube channel in Korea, making a record 17.6 million subscribers and 3.7 billion cumulative views.

As soon as the Recording Academy heard that J.Fla is working on her regular album, they decided to collaborate with her on her best-matching original series, "[RE] imagined". This series will debut a new installment of "ReImagined", a video series where artists bring a fresh take on classic Grammy-winning/nominated songs. For the project, J.Fla remixed Ed's 2021 hit track "Bad Habits".
