During the runway, the 23-year-old beauty modeled a sheer green top which she paired with a black mini skirt and strappy sandals. As if the sheer top wasn't racy enough, the top, which was wrapped around her neck, left one of her breasts exposed for everyone to see.
Of the design, Pabal shared in an interview, "I wanted to create a space for this particular show where we felt what we are feeling in the culture itself: Kind of unsure politically, culturally, but we still want to be hopeful, want to be optimistic. I needed to be near the reminder of the UN that our job in fashion is not done until we are alert and vigilant."
Ella, who is one of Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff's two kids with his first wife Kerstin Emhoff, made modeling debut last February at Paris Fashion Week in a stunning Balenciaga ensemble. The model, who signed with the modeling agency IMG Models in February 2021, has done many runway walks for many high-end brands.
"I was pretty surprised when everything with IMG was happening because when I was younger, I never saw that as being part of my timeline," she said in a statement after signing with the agency. "As someone who, like a lot of young girls out there, had self-confidence issues, it is intimidating and scary to go into this world that is hyper-focused on you and the body."
She recently landed a gig with the British luxury fashion brand Mulberry as she modeled in their campaign for the opening of a flagship New York City store. The promo featured a mural of her face painted on a wall in Soho.
Ella first earned the fashion world's attention after wearing a Miu Miu coat at President Joe Biden's and Harris' inauguration last January. In an interview with Elle Magazine, she described her fame as "just the wildest thing."
"Growing up, I never saw myself as someone stylish, at all! Obviously, I loved fashion and cared a lot about it," she explained. "But I was really into doing my own thing and being really comfortable in my own body, you know? I never saw myself as a 'fashion person.' "
