After wrapping up his final scenes on 'This Is Us' , the Toby Damon depicter announces via his social media accounts what fans could expect next from his family life.

AceShowbiz - Chris Sullivan will soon be having a new member in his little family. Making use of his social media accounts, the actor portraying Toby Damon on "This Is Us" announced that he is welcoming a "new beginning" in his life with wife Rachel.

Having wrapped up his final scenes in "This Is Us", the 41-year-old posted a 40-second video to his Twitter and Instagram accounts to share the amazing news of his wife's second pregnancy. Along with the Thursday, May 5 post, he wrote a heartfelt message that read, "We have wrapped my final scenes for #thisisus. What an incredible 6 years these have been. With every end, there is a new beginning...so here is a trailer of what's to come."

In the video, Rachel could be seen giving something to their son Bear Maxwell. She then told Bear, who was wearing a shirt which had the phrase "only child" crossed out and the phrase "big brother" written right under it, to go over to Chris who was behind the camera.

Following Rachel's instruction, Bear ran toward Chris and gave him a folded sonogram. Upon receiving the sonogram, the latter showed it to the camera. The screen then turned pink and a text that read, "IT'S A GIRL! Arriving on Nov. 1…ish" took over.

Chris' happy announcement was immediately met with congratulations by a number of his celebrity friends. Actor Jon Lee Brody left a message that read, "Congrats man! What a run! Been a joy to watch all these years. Bittersweet to see it end but excited for your new upcoming chapter!" Mandy Moore, Chrissy Metz and many others also gave a bunch of heart emojis to express their excitement.

A lot of Chris' celebrity friends congratulated Chris and his wife.

Chris and Rachel welcomed their first child, Bear, in 2020. The couple introduced him to the world one month after he was born. In a 2020 interview with PEOPLE, the actor opened up about becoming a father. "Instantaneously, Bear's existence has taught me lessons about surrendering to the current moment," he shared.

"And shown me where in my life I have selfish tendencies and self-centered tendencies," he revealed. "Bear constantly brings me back to the current moment, which is ... perfect in every way. And I think that's a good reminder."
