Having undergone a weight loss transformation with clean eating and exercise, the 'Easy On Me' singer shares her honest thought on the reaction to her slimmed-down figure.

AceShowbiz - Adele has admitted she "feels bad" that her seven stone weight loss may have made "anyone feel horrible" about their body. The "Easy On Me" singer overhauled her lifestyle with clean eating and exercise after she struggled with crippling anxiety following her split from ex-husband Simon Konecki.

Speaking out on the reaction to her slimmed-down figure, Adele told TV legend Oprah Winfrey she faced guilt after fans were upset by her image overhaul - but insisted it's not her responsibility to "validate how people feel about their bodies."

"I'm not shocked or even fazed by it because my body has been objectified my entire career. I'm either too big or too small; I'm either hot or I'm not," she sighed.

"I was body positive then and I'm body positive now. It's not my job to validate how people feel about their bodies. I feel bad that it's made anyone feel horrible about themselves – but that's not my job. I'm trying to sort my own life out. I can't add another worry."

During the chat, the "Rolling in the Deep" star revealed she got into sweat sessions and quit alcohol after suffering "the most terrifying anxiety attacks" following the separation.

"They paralyzed me completely, and made me so confused because I wouldn't be able to have any control over my body," she explained, before crediting working out for improving her mental health."

"I had such trust (with my trainer). And when I worked with him, I had less anxiety. I wasn't even bothered by my weight but by doing that, it helped me with a lot of things," she said. "I'd have a set schedule, like a 9 A.M. workout and 1 P.M. hike. It gave me good discipline."
