CeCe Winans Leads Winners at 2021 Dove Awards

The 'Thy Kingdom Come' singer dominates this year's Dove Awards by picking up a total of four coveted prizes including the prestigious Gospel Artist of the Year title.

AceShowbiz - CeCe Winans is celebrating after triumphing at the 2021 Dove Awards.

The singer picked up four honours, including Gospel Artist of the Year, during the prizegiving earlier this month (Oct21), with winners announced to the public over the weekend (22-24Oct21).

Winans also scored the Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year Award for her "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" duet with Carrie Underwood, which appeared on the country star's first gospel album, "My Savior".

Celebrating her second Dove Awards win, Carrie writes, "Thank you, @gospelmusicassoc! Recording 'Great Is Thy Faithfulness' with @cecewinans was a highlight of my career and she is truly one of my biggest inspirations. Congratulations on your huge night, CeCe!"

Meanwhile, For King & Country picked up the Artist of the Year prize for the second straight year and songwriter/producer Jason Ingram tied Winans for the most wins with four.

  • Southern Gospel Artist of the Year: Ernie Haase & Signature Sound
  • Worship Recorded Song of the Year: "Graves Into Gardens" by Elevation Worship feat. Brandon Lake
