AceShowbiz - Arie Luyendyk Jr. has finally introduced his newborn twins to the world. Days after welcoming the two babies with wife Lauren Burnham, the season 22 star of "The Bachelor" unveiled "incredible" first pictures of their kids.
The 39-year-old dad shared photos in question on Instagram on Tuesday, June 15. One snap saw his wife holding their infants while she's in her hospital bed. In the accompanying message, he raved, "Never been prouder of my wife than in this moment. She is the strongest woman I know and I'm lucky to be on this incredible journey with her. We are proud parents of a healthy boy and girl!"
Also posting the identical picture was Arie's wife on her own Instagram page. The mother of three, however, sent out a different caption by simply noting, "6.11.21 @luyendyktwins."
Hours later, Arie turned to Instagram to let out several photos of their 2-year-old daughter Alessi with one of her twin siblings. He captioned it, "Already loves her brother so much. Thank you everyone for the kind words and for those that watched our vlog on YouTube. Emotional few days but Alessi meeting her little brother today was cuter than words could describe. We'll post more soon just resting."
The auto-racing driver confirmed the babies' arrival on Saturday, June 12. "@luyendyktwins are here!" he declared on Instagram Story at that time. "Momma and babies are doing great and everything went smoothly... Spending time cherishing these moments, thank you for all the support [love]."
Arie and Lauren, who tied the knot in Hawaii in January 2019, went public with their pregnancy back in December 2020. "We're pregnant! We've known for a while and we've been trying to hide it," he enthusiastically declared, before his 29-year-old wife chimed in, "It's so hard to keep it a secret."
