AceShowbiz - "The Bachelorette" returned with a new episode on Monday, June 14. In the new outing, leading lady Katie Thurston went on a special camping date with one lucky man, while she "is forced to question who is truly here for the right reasons."
When the first date card arrived, it was revealed that Christian, Garrett, Tre, Quartney, Mike P., James, Justin, Thomas, Connor B. and Karl were up for a group date. For that, Katie brought in Heather McDonald, who is a comedian known for sex, as she questioned the men about sex. Later, they were required to get up on stage to attract Katie with their performances. Connor B. sang an original song, while Tre offered a puppet show. While everyone did their best, Katie gave the group date rose to Thomas.
Greg, meanwhile, was named to be the lucky man to enjoy an one-on-one date with Katie. She arrived in a pickup truck for their outdoor date. The pair went to the river, where they're spending time fishing. Katie felt that Greg made her comfortable and that they shared a lot of common things. After putting up their tent together, they played horseshoes and ate their lunch together.
During their date, Katie opened up to Greg about her father, who taught her about outdoor activities. At one point, she got emotional while talking about her father, who passed away in 2012. At the night portion of the date, both of them got candid about their own families during an emotional talk. After she gave Greg the date rose, they kissed under fireworks.
As for the next group date, it was for John, Andrew S., Kyle, Josh, Aaron, Brendan, Hunter and Kody. Hosts Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe woke up the men the next morning, asking them to hurry up to the place they would be participating in Katie's Big Buckle Brawl without getting dressed. For the date, the men, who were all given cowboy attire, would get down and dirty as they would be wrestling in the mud. Katie looked worried seeing the men wrestling especially during Aaron and Cody's match. Aaron won the match.
Katie noticed the tension between the two and it felt like that it was something personal. Aaron admitted that he knows Cody from back in San Diego and that some of Cody's social media posts rubbed him the wrong way. He also claimed that Cody joined the show for fame.
Katie was thankful for Aaron for telling her that, though it made her annoyed because one thing she hated the most was when someone was there with a hidden agenda. During the after-party, Katie confronted Cody about what Aaron had told her. Cody then went to Aaron but then Katie sent Cody home.
Meanwhile, Andrew was upset because Cody and Aaron's drama took all Katie's time. He tried to comfort her with a glass of champagne. They talked a lot and Andrew kissed her. Katie eventually gave the group date rose to Andrew.
However, later that night, she cried after learning that multiple men were there for the wrong reasons. She asked them to say something if they had anything to say, though no one did. Apparently, it was Karl that told Katie about that. The men were mad with Tre calling Karl a week spineless man.
