The 'Forever After All' crooner becomes a mainstay on Billboard Hot 200 with his second studio album 'What You See Is What You Get' which has broken multiple records since its 2019 release.

AceShowbiz - Luke Combs is on the rise again. The country music crooner has become a mainstay on Billboard chart with his 2019 sophomore set "What You See Is What You Get" and he recently climbed from No. 11 to No. 10 on Hot 200 following the release of his new single "Forever After All".

The song officially ruled Billboard Country Airplay chart, marking Luke Combs' eleventh consecutive chart-topper. It additionally reached No. 1 on Mediabase country radio singles chart and became the most-played song on the panel with 8,899 spins and 43.13 million audience impressions.

Meanwhile, "What You See Is What You Get" bowed atop Hot 200 when it first came out in November 2019, becoming his first chart topper on the list. With 172,000 equivalent album units, it marked the largest week for a country album in over a year and the biggest streaming week ever for a country album. The sales equated to 74 million audio streams for the entirety of the album's 17 tracks.

A year later, the album propelled the Grammy-nominated singer back to the pinnacle of the chart as he launched a reissue with the addition of six new songs. In November 2020, it jumped from No. 21 straight to the top spot with 109,000 equivalent album units.

At over 11 months, it became the first LP to return to the summit after an extended wait since Bon Jovi's "This House Is Not for Sale". In the same week, it also shattered the record for the most streams for a country record at 102.26 million streams. It has since been certified double platinum in the U.S. for selling over 2 million units.

Luke Combs picked up an Album of the Year title and Male Vocalist of the Year at the Country Music Association Awards last year. He also won Best Country Album and Country Artist of the Year at the iHeartRadio Music Awards last month.
