AceShowbiz - The sparks between Kanye West and Irina Shayk reportedly flew long before the media caught wind of it. Following their sightings together on different occasions, it's now reported that the new pair have been seeing each other months before they had a French getaway.
Sources allegedly connected to the new lovebirds tell TMZ the rapper and the model have been dating as early as March. They are believed to have hung out together in New York City in late April, when Ye was there for DMX's celebration of life.
And public may have missed an early hint at their relationship as the site points out that Irina was spotted wearing a custom DMX memorial shirt on April 26, before it was made available for the general public. As to how the T-shirt is related to Kanye, the custom X shirts were designed by Balenciaga and commissioned by the Yeezy brand. Kanye helped raise over $1 million for DMX's family with the profits.
E!'s source, meanwhile, tells the site that Kanye and Irina "have known each other for years through the fashion industry" before they started seeing each other "several weeks" ago. "Kanye has been flying in and out of New York to be with her," the source dishes to the site.
As to how they connected, the source says, "Kanye and Irina connected recently when they were both in New York City. They met up one night and had chemistry and hit it off." A second source, however, notes that their relationship is "very casual and they have only been in touch for about a month," adding, "Kanye has expressed he doesn't want anything serious, but likes Irina's vibe."
Kanye and Irina fueled their dating rumors, which first surfaced last month, after they were pictured celebrating his 44th birthday together in France on Tuesday, June 8 with a group of his friends. The pair were later seen returning to the U.S. together on a private plane, landing on a New Jersey airport on Wednesday.
