Unveiling her well-thought gift for the prince and his wife Meghan Markle's first son, 'The Me You Can't See' director Dawn Porter shares that the Duke of Sussex's reaction was better than expectation.

AceShowbiz - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be all over their newborn daughter Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor now, but one cannot forget their firstborn Archie when meeting the couple. That's why director Dawn Porter prepared a special gift for the 2-year-old tot when she was introduced to the prince by Oprah Winfrey shortly after the Sussexes welcomed their son.

Speaking in a recent episode of "Acting Up", the award-winning director, who worked with Harry and Oprah on their Apple TV+ series "The Me You Can't See", said she was advised by the media mogul to bring a gift for the new dad. And much to her astonishment, Dawn said Harry's reaction to her present was beyond her expectation.

"I don't know what you give a prince, but I figured he had everything and he had a baby," Dawn detailed how she picked the gift. "So why do we only give women the gifts? We were finishing up 'The Way I See It' and we were filming in the African-American Museum at the Smithsonian. So I went to the gift store and I got him like a red, black and green onesie and some books about brown babies and like, loving yourself. And so I put this little package together."

Upon receiving the gift, Harry "flipped out," so Dawn claimed. She added, "He loved it. He was like, 'This is his culture. This is his background' and he just couldn't get over the gift. He kept remarking on it."

The director went on dishing on the 36-year-old royal redhead's character based on her impression. "Prince Harry strikes me as very curious and very respectful," she shared, "and I think despite the fact that he comes from where he comes from, he also feels a little bit like an outsider. And so I think he really understands and has a lot of empathy and a lot more in common with people of different races than most people think."

Harry and Meghan are now parents of two after their daughter Lilibet was born on June 4. "It is with great joy that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcome their daughter, Lilibet 'Lili' Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world...," read a statement issued by the pair on Sunday, June 6. "Both mother and child are healthy and well, and settling in at home."
