'The Sun Is Also a Star' actor and his 'Riverdale' co-star are seen wearing matching bright yellow outfits and leaving together in his classic car after dining out at La Poubelle Bistro in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - Charles Melton has sparked reconciliation rumors with Camila Mendes, more than a year after they broke up. During their night out in Los Angeles with friends, the "Riverdale" star was caught wrapping his arm around his co-star.

On Friday, June 4, the 30-year-old actor was seen hanging out together with the 26-year-old actress at La Poubelle Bistro in L.A. In photos obtained by Daily Mail from the night out, the two were also catching up with another "Riverdale" star, Cole Sprouse, along with his twin Dylan Sprouse and model Stella Maxwell. At one point, "The Sun Is Also a Star" actor was captured with his arm wrapped around the "Dangerous Lies" actress as they walked away from the restaurant.

A source informed E! News that they asked the couple for a photo as they were leaving and then took selfies with each of them. The source told the outlet, "Then they took more selfies with my friend who was with me. After that, they left alone together." The twosome was then seen getting inside the actor's classic car and driving off.

Throughout the evening, Charles stayed close to Camila and even wore matching bright yellow outfits. The "Bad Boys for Life" actor rocked a yellow graphic long-sleeve shirt and a pair of khaki pants which he paired with sandals. He also had a gray baseball cap resting atop his shaggy messy hairdo.

In the meantime, Camila donned a baggy cropped blazer, which showed off her toned body, over a black top. "The Perfect Date" actress also put on a pair of high-waisted acid-wash jeans. The actress styled her hair down and parted in the middle and carried a black handbag with her.

Back in December 2019, Charles and Camila were reported to have called off their relationship. "Camila and Charles have been separated for a few months now. They are taking a break from their relationship," a source told E! News at the time. "Their relationship escalated very quickly and they are taking time now to focus on their work and themselves."

"They both have movie projects separately and it's been a lot on both their plates," the insider continued. "Nothing in particular happened, they just both felt busy and overwhelmed and it was a lot of pressure on them."

Despite their split, Charles and Camila are said to be on good terms and realize they have to be "cordial" with one another on the "Riverdale" set. "They have been filming together while being split and things have been normal," the insider further explained.
