In his new appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon', the Grammy winner discusses the wardrobe mishap during his performance in the May 22 episode of 'SNL'.

AceShowbiz - Lil Nas X's performance on "Saturday Night Live" on May 22 sparked chatter as he experienced a wardrobe malfunction when he was performing his controversial single, "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)". In his new appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", the Grammy winner discussed the matter while laughing about it.

"So, I was pretty much going down the pole, you know, doing my little sexy drop down and boom, I feel air," Lil Nas X told host Jimmy Fallon. "I was like, okay, there's definitely a breeze going on."

As the host could not stop laughing, the "Old Town Road" rapper went on detailing, "I also felt like, some popping, like still happening while I was down there. I was like, 'Oh God, I hope it's not...just please don't be on TV already.' "

During the said performance, Lil Nas X could be seen looking so shocked when he realized that he ripped his pants while performing a pole dance routine. He quickly used his hand to cover his groin area mid-performance, and he later took to Twitter to share his embarrassment.

"NOT MY PANTS RIPPED ON LIVE ON TV. OMFG (oh my f**king God) NO (sic)," so he tweeted. "I wanted to do my pole routine so bad this what I get lmaoo (laughing my a** off) (sic)," he added in a separate tweet.

Apparently, some people thought that the wardrobe malfunction was a PR stunt, though the rapper shut down the accusations. "I know i do a lot of planned s**t but ripping my pants on live television is not one of them," he wrote.
