It all starts after the 'Stressed Out' singer responds to those who keep asking him to use his platforms to support the movement, 'Feels good to dust these bad boys off.'

AceShowbiz - Tyler Joseph has successfully made himself trend on social media, but it's not for a good reason. The frontman of Twenty One Pilots sparked backlash for refusing to use his platforms to support human right movements such as Black Lives Matter and even made an insensitive joke about that.

It all started after he took to his Twitter account to write, "You guys keep asking me to use my platforms. Feels good to dust these bad boys off." In the post, he also attached two pictures of him showing off his brand new sneakers.

The post successfully garnered attention with a lot of people attacking the "Heathens" singer. For instance, one person wrote, "f**k you tyler joseph F**K YOU f**k you f**k you F**K you F**k you you have ruined so many of my memories you meant so much to me and you have f**king ruined it." Someone else was just as pissed, "it's the being silent (even tho it’s a choice) but then making a mockery of people telling you to use your platform for me."

However, instead of apologizing over the tweet, Tyler shared a series of posts dedicated to mental health. He said at one point, "I respect all the warriors out there fighting for different causes. there is honor in it, purpose, and it can make our world better. i just want to remind you what i’m fighting for: your mental health is more important today than it ever has been. you're not alone."

"you don't know what someone else is going through. what other invisible weights they may be struggling to carry. keep that in mind as you go about your interactions," he added in a separate tweet. "and take care of yourself, please."

It was his latest tweet that got everyone even more mad, as they believed that Tyler was not feeling sorry over the insensitive joke. "This isn't a notes app moment. i'm doubling down on my platform tweet. It was fantastic," he said.

More people have since attacked him over the tweet, with one saying, "what the hell is wrong with you?? black people are being murdered everywhere. millions of people have lost their jobs. this is awful. what's going on right now. this is not a joke for white straight privileged millionaire men to make." Another wrote, "For someone who claims to care about his fans so much, you sure seem ignorant to the problems many of them face. you're a f**king a**hole."
