Kim Basinger's 'L.A. Confidential' Home Is on Sale

The Los Angeles house originally built by Jack Donovan and later featured in the 1997 critically-acclaimed crime movie has been put on the market for $7.5 million.

AceShowbiz - The Los Angeles house Kim Basinger's character called home in crime movie "L.A. Confidential" is on the market.

The actress went on to win an Oscar for her role as high-class call girl Lynn Bracken in the 1997 movie and now the classic Old World Spanish style pad that doubled as her home is up for grabs at $7.5 million (£5.7 million).

Historically known as the John C. Leavitt House, the home was originally designed by silent film actor and architect Jack Donovan. Built in 1923, it is located in the Hancock Park neighbourhood.
