According to a new report, Bravo executives are hoping to get the comedian and her husband Sidney Hicks join the cast of the hit reality series to fill in NeNe's place amid rumors of her firing.

AceShowbiz - Upcoming season 13 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" may feature new faces. According to a new report, Bravo executives are hoping to get comedian Mo'Nique and her husband Sidney Hicks join the cast of the hit reality series.

A source close to Mo'Nique reveals, "[Sidney] is negotiating with Bravo to have Mo'Nique join the show. Nothing is done yet, but if Bravo opens up their pockets, we'll all see Mo'Nique on the show."

As if the idea of having Mo'Nique on the show is not surprising enough, the informant claims that Mo and Sidney will replace cast member NeNe Leakes, who is rumored to be not returning for the next season of the hit show.

It remains to be seen if the report is true as neither Mo and Bravo has responded to it.

NeNe and her team, meanwhile, previously denied rumors that she's fired from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta". Her team insisted that there's no truth to the rumors and revealed that the reason why she has yet to sign the new contract is because she's tapped to co-host a new E! show titled "Glamsquad Showdown".

The TV star's manager Steven Grossman shared that "Glamsquad Showdown" would not get in the way with the TV star's gig on "RHOA". Claiming that the firing rumors were "absolutely not true," Steven said that "Nene is definitely leaning towards finding ways she can do both her new E! show and 'RHOA'."

Meanwhile, a source revealed that NeNe is heavily affected by the rumors. "NeNe was discouraged when she heard that the rumors about her being fired were planted by someone from the show," the source spilled. "She's sick of feeling sabotaged and manipulated to lose her cool since they know which buttons to push behind the scenes."
