Along with friends JT Swierczek and James Kirtley, the 'Vanderpump Rules' star and the former NSYNC member have launched an at-home cocktail mixers brand, Just Add X.

AceShowbiz - Jax Taylor believes he is still a part of Just Add X company despite Lance Bass' recent conflicting claims. Shortly after the former NSYNC member declared publicly that they have parted ways as business partners, the "Vanderpump Rules" star shared his side of the story, expressing his shock over the matter.

In a released statement, Jax's representative first offered a back story to what went on behind the scenes. "Last week the Just Add X website had been hacked, showcasing some hateful slurs, which Jax felt horrible about," the rep spilled. "In an emotional state, Jax had texted Lance and the Just Add X team offering to step down from the company if that was the direction they wanted to take."

"The team immediately followed up with a phone call with Lance and the team reassured and fully supported him," the reality TV star's rep went on explaining on Monday, June 15. "It was decided that Jax would continue to stay on the team and that they all had his back given these unpredictable times."

In regards to Lance's podcast announcement, the rep said that it was "not only untrue but also extremely confusing and shocking to say the least." The rep added, "Jax is still very much a partner and founder of Just Add X and supports the team and the brand whole-heartedly. This has been a tough time for everyone involved, especially with the critical state of Brittany's mother in the ICU, their focus has been on that."

Lance went public with Jax's departure from their at-home cocktail mixers venture during the Monday episode of "The Daily Podcast". When addressing racism allegations against his business partner, the 41-year-old singer claimed, "He's stepping down from Just Add X, which you know, we have to. We can't be involved and associated with any of this going down. We have to do the right thing."

During the discussion, Lance further predicted that Jax will meet the same fate as his recently fired co-stars, Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute. "He will lose out. I do not see Bravo keeping him. I have a feeling soon it's going to be done. It's gonna be bigger and bigger," the openly-gay singer pointed out.

Elsewhere in the podcast, Lance also touched on the topic of Jax making racist comment against "90 Day Fiance" star Ashley Smith's boyfriend. "I actually had a conversation about this with him yesterday, and I feel like I'm the only person that he actually heard it from," he said. "He was like, 'I don't understand this big nose thing! Jewish people have big noses.' " He added, "He just could not see it."

To this allegation, Jax's representative responded with a denying statement to PEOPLE. "Jax and Lance were on a call with two other people from their team as well. Those words never came out of Jax's mouth. Those allegations are totally false," the rep, who claimed to be joining the conference call, clarified.

Lance and Jax launched their mixer brand, Just Add X, back in early May along with two other friends, JT Swierczek and James Kirtley.
