The Christian pop singer, who is married to country singer Vince Gill, thanks fans for prayers and support after she went under the knife to fix a heart condition she was born with.

AceShowbiz - Amy Grant has shown off her scar from recent open-heart surgery and thanked fans for praying for her during the operation.
The 59-year-old Christian pop singer went under the knife on 3 June to fix a heart condition she was born with, and shared pictures of her scar on Instagram on Sunday, June 14.
Explaining the experience to fans, she claimed it was like "a non-runner who was signed up for a marathon" and went on to thank fans, family and old colleagues who had sent her messages of support and prayer as it put, "this massive West Texas wind at my back.. just pushing me through."
Updating fans on how she's doing, Amy, who is married to fellow singer Vince Gill, added, "My recovery has honestly felt miraculous. And so I want to say thank you to each person who said a prayer for me. Prayer changes everything. Let's keep those prayers going for our country and lets turn all the brokenness into love and seeing each other. I love you. Amy."
Amy's condition - partial anomalous pulmonary venous return - was discovered during a routine check-up earlier this year.
