The former pro basketball player and his wife Gabrielle Union also join in on the fun, being pictured with the 13-year-old in 'modern medieval kingdom' costumes.

AceShowbiz - Dwyane Wade's daughter Zaya Wade knows how to have fun while remaining at home. The openly transgender daughter of the former NBA star played dress up from her house on Thursday, June 11 to celebrate Pride Month.

In several pictures shared on her Instagram page, the 13-year-old appeared to play a role of a princess from "modern medieval kingdom." She rocked a white T-shirt underneath a black corset and a green robe, paired with golden-and-black skintight pants.

Rocking long purple hair which was styled in braids, she also had a crown on her head. She enlisted her father and stepmother for the fun cosplay, with the 38-year-old former athlete donning a long-sleeve gray T-shirt and a black miniskirt. His wife Gabrielle Union, meanwhile, wore a long floral dress with a simpler crown.

"Stronger together #happypride," Zaya captioned the photos showing the three walking together outside their house, with Gabrielle smiling. In another snap, the three posed with the background of a grass wall with "ZAYA #13" lamp decorations on it.

Another shot is in black and white and featured Zaya's silhouette from her side. "Zaya #13 #happypride," she captioned it, which was re-posted on Dwyane's own account.

Zaya, born Zion Wade, is Dwyane's daughter with his ex Siohvaughn Funches. The former Miami Heat star confirmed that she's a transgender in February during his appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show".

As with his announcement earlier this year, Dwyane's support for his daughter with the cosplay has been met with mixed responses from his followers. "You mean Zion Wade?" one critic wrote in the comment section of Dwyane's post.

"You still have time to delete this," another suggested to the father of four. Refusing to acknowledge Zaya as a girl, a third user wrote, "Ya son daughter is handsome and pretty."

Another left a positive comment which read, "Happy pride! Do your best to ignore the bigots and keep supporting that courageous daughter of yours!" Another praised Dwyane, "You're a truly great father, I feel so full of pride and joy watching your family love and support each other. Major respect and admiration."
