The OutKast member has debuted a new fashion line in a bid to raise money to fund Movement for Black Lives amid the nationwide protests against racial injustice.

AceShowbiz - Andre 3000 has launched a new line of T-shirts to raise funds for the civil rights organisation Movement for Black Lives.

The OutKast star debuted the new fashion line on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, with shirts based on the slogan-adorned jumpsuits he wore on his group's 2014 tour all available for $75 each from his website for only three days.

Announcing his new fundraising initiative, launched following the Black Lives Matter protests that have swept the U.S., the "Ms. Jackson" hitmaker wrote on his site, "Something very important is happening all over the world and it is happening to all of us. How does it make you feel?"

"For 3 days, a selection of shirts inspired by a collection of my jumpsuits will be sold and 100 per cent of net proceeds will be donated to Movement for Black Lives to aid in their fight to end police brutality & racial injustice against Black people. This is only one piece in the war against systemic racism. It takes all of us. BLACK LIVES MATTER ... at a minimum."

The T-shirts are all black with a red "NOT 4 SALE" imitation tag on one sleeve and feature phrases including, "across cultures, darker people suffer most. why?" and, "passionate about compassion."

Proceeds will go to Movement for Black Lives, an umbrella organisation of groups campaigning for racial justice.
