During an appearance on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers', the 'Girls Trip' comedienne reveals that she had been a witness to police brutality from the tender age of 13.

AceShowbiz - Tiffany Haddish broke down on TV on Tuesday night (June 09) as she recalled watching police officers "slaughter" her friends.

The "Girls Trip" star appeared on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" days after attending a memorial for George Floyd, who was killed by a Minnesota police officer last month (May), and confessed the funeral in Minneapolis brought up a lot of bad memories of things she had been a witness to from the age of 13.

"The thing that made me really want to be there (at the memorial) is I have watched my friends be slaughtered by police," she said. "I decided to go because I was invited... I have watched people be murdered in front of me."

"I wanted to be there in support of the family because I understand how they feel. Being there was like being there for all of my friends, whose funerals I already went to."

"The eulogies that were given were so powerful. It was a great message and I cried so much. Not just for Floyd, but for all of those people that passed away and all of my friends and my family members that are locked up. The amount of pain I felt was tremendous."
