The 'American Horror Story' creator has already shared two sons, 7-year-old Logan Phineas and 5-year-old Ford Theodore, together with his photographer husband David Miller.

AceShowbiz - Ryan Murphy is about to be a father for the third time. Writing a profile over his New York City and Los Angeles homes for Architectural Digest, the creator of "American Horror Story" subtly slipped the exciting news that he and his photographer husband, David Miller, are expecting their third child together.

Near the end of his piece published on Tuesday, June 9, the man behind "Glee" revealed that the new addition to his family will arrive sometime in August. "But wouldn't you know it, I feel an attack of color and Legos and bright Magna-Tiles coming on," he wrote. "We are expecting another baby, a boy, in August."

Murphy and Miller were married in 2012. They have since shared two sons, 7-year-old Logan Phineas and 5-year-old Ford Theodore, together.

Elsewhere in the article, Murphy reflected on the connection between his homes, his growing family and his career. Speaking about the Spanish Colonial Revival home that he bought from Diane Keaton, he spilled, "My husband, David Miller, and I moved into that house right before we got married, and we had our two boys, Logan and Ford (now seven and five respectively), there."

"And with family life came more color (children's toys are never tasteful beige) and more collections and just . . . more," the 54-year-old continued on explaining. "My career took off right around the time we had Logan, in 2012, and I went from one or two shows to sometimes 12. Those shows, too, were often colorful and baroque."

The baby news itself came more than six months after Murphy talked about his son Ford being free from the neuroblastoma he was diagnosed with in 2018. When presenting an award to Dana Walden during Variety's Power of Women event in October 2019, he shared, "My baby had a tumor the size of a tennis ball at 18 months growing behind his abdominal wall and the doctor said this was bad."

"The first person I called was Dana, who is the godmother to both Ford and our older son, Logan. And Dana instantly charged into action as she does," the screenwriter recounted. Noting that his boy has since undergone a six hour surgery and years of intense exams, he added, "I still have not emotionally recovered, to be honest. But Ford has. He turned five a week ago. And I'm so proud to proclaim that he is cancer free."
