The NBA star takes issue with the fact that the TV host once told him to 'shut up and dribble,' while she responded to Drew's scandal by saying, 'He's allowed to have his view.'

AceShowbiz - Laura Ingraham has responded after LeBron James called her out for her double standard in regards to Drew Brees scandal. After the Fox News host defended the NFL star amid the backlash for his kneeling comments, the basketball player reminded her how she told him to shut up instead of commenting on political issues.

Laura took to her TV show on Thursday, June 4 to address LeBron's comment. Apparently backtracking on her earlier remarks to the NBA star, she said, "Every American has the God-given right to speak his mind on any issue."

"I think in order to heal and shed light on gross injustices, our country needs more dialogue, not less. And we need more respect, less retribution," she continued. "We are all human beings on this earth for a very short period of time when you think about it, This is a moment when we should be listening and learning. All of us."

Back in 2018, after LeBron criticized Donald Trump, Laura told him, "Keep the political commentary to yourself, or as someone once said, 'Shut up and dribble.' " In contrary to her remark back then, she said when defending Drew on her show earlier this week, "He's allowed to have his view about what kneeling and the flag means to him."

Noticing this, LeBron wouldn't stay quiet. "If you still haven't figured out why the protesting is going on. Why we're acting as we are is because we are simply F***IN tired of this treatment right here! Can we break it down for you any simpler than this right here????" he pointed out her bias. "And to my people don't worry I won't stop until I see CHANGE!!! #ShutUpAndDribbleThisPowerfulBlackManComingFullSteam."

As for Drew controversy, he came under fire after saying that he's still against kneeling during the national anthem because it's disrespecting the flag. He has since apologized twice for his comments, stating in an Instagram video posted on Thursday, "The years and years of social injustice, police brutality, and the need for so much reform and change in regard to legislation and so many other things to bring equality to our black communities. I am sorry." He also vowed, "And I will do better. And I will be part of the solution. And I am your ally."
