The 'If I Don't Have You' songstress accidentally posts a tweet with the racist hashtag, but quickly corrects her typo after her followers alert her about it.

AceShowbiz - Tamar Braxton caught her fans by surprise after she appeared to promote a racist hashtag. The singer, who has been vocal about her support for Black Lives Matter movement, accidentally tweeted with #BlueLivesMatter on Wednesday, June 3.

"Praise God!! #BlueLivesMatter," read her tweet, which raised people's eyebrows. It couldn't go unnoticed by her followers, who soon expressed their confusion at her stance. "this u?" someone asked for a clarification.

After reading the comments, Tamar made it clear that the racist hashtag wasn't her real intention. It was apparently a typo and she soon corrected it into "Praise God!! #blacklifematters." She additionally told her followers, "Y'all already know that was a mistake ... and no Tom foolery here Ever !!"

Meanwhile, on her Instagram page, Tamar recently expressed her concern as a black mom with two children in the wake of George Floyd's death. "I'm a mother...look at my sons...," she wrote along with a picture of her with sons Denim Braxton Lewis and Diezel Braxton-Lewis.

She went on sharing, "@denimbraxton just finished high school on Thursday. He and @diezel.braxton are so young and ready to discover their way in life and there's nothing I can do to protect them from the hate because of their beautiful black skin. No matter where they go in this world, I will always be their BMW. #blackmomworried."

"They may have fired these cops but it doesn't matter. I'm thoroughly disgusted and horrified. How do I protect my sons? #georgefloyd," she wrote in another post highlighting police brutality to civilians on the street during protest.

She repeated it in her recent tweet, writing, "I had a morning cocktail cause if these charges ain't come back right it was going down ... judge ya mama cause like her, I'm trying to make it with my nerves raising a BLACK son and helping in raising my nephews in these foolish times."

She has also used her platform to urge people to vote for a better life and show her support for the Black Lives Matter protests.
