AceShowbiz - Trina made headlines over her alleged ignorant comments about George Floyd protestors. The "Love & Hip Hop: Miami" cast member sparked outrage after referring to those who were on the street to fight against racism as "animals" in a recent episode of her radio show with Trick Daddy.
"Keep everybody off the street.. these animals off the street," she said in the episode. She went on saying, "I know my rights. I have my license & registration. Black people need to be arrested and stop acting like animals in the streets."
That unsurprisingly prompted people to launch a cancel party for her. "Trina girl your canceled, this why Khia be eating your a** up now," a comment read. "Trick Daddy was trying to save Trina that whole conversation, and she just wouldn't let up. Did it to herself," one other wrote.
"Trina said she ain't worried about getting pulled over by the police cause she got her license and registration. B***h so the 100s of black ppl who were killed by police didn't have their license & registration?" tweeted a user.
Masika Kalysha was also among those who slammed the rapper and TV star. "Khia... beloved... please come drag this coon Trina back to the swamp b4 I get ha...," she tweeted to Trina's nemesis Khia. "The sun ain't up even yet and the coon of the day award goes to Trina...," Masika added in a separate tweet.
Trina fired back at Masika, writing, "DRAG who b***h. Bcuz I'm not the one and your twitter thug a** will get beat tf down. What's good h*e!!!" She also told Masika to "keep my name out of your mouth."
Clapping back at haters, Trina tweeted, "Some of y'all are plain f**kN ignorant and nothing nobody do will help period. Don't come on my page with y'all bulls**t !!! Bcuz I got time today !!!"
In a separate post, Trina claimed that the "video was EDITED to what I said. Second of all if u don't know the exact facts stfu!!!! If u want answers of clarification say that. But u will not think u can come up here and talk s**t about me bcuz u can't."
Tagging Masika, Trina added, "I will address the people. But u dumb a** b***h I don't owe u s**t. U can eat a duck diet bag. Tf is wrong with u. and by the way dumb h*e if u was fully listening to my music u wouldn'ty have grown to be a dumb h*e."
Not backing down, Masika responded, "Let me book this flight so I can fight yo dumb a**....WAIT TRINA YOU'RE ACTING LIKE AN ANIMAL!! don't you dare quote Rihanna, an actual activist who PULLS UP!! Girl the word clout wasn't even invented when u were relevant take yo afternoon nap."
Still, Trina insisted that she talked only truth. "The problem is with some of y'all y'all don't wanna hear the truth. Well y'all can be mad ! Y'all should put that anger and frustration into doing something better. Instead of talking s**t about people," she continued ranting. "This isn't about me. I've done and I'm doing my part so leave me tf alone. What are u doing. Yea. What are you doing. My point exactly."
