Destiney Bleu accuses the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star of borrowing several items under the pretence of being for her personal use before launching her version for Good American.

AceShowbiz - A Los Angeles designer is suing Khloe Kardashian and her Good American associates for allegedly ripping off her creations for their bedazzled bodysuits.

In legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Destiney Bleu Lewis has accused the reality TV star and entrepreneur of borrowing several items under the pretence of being for her personal use, only to discover Good American bosses had launched their own version of similar bodysuits.

"This case is about dbleudazzled, a small and independent women's clothing company whose designs and trade dress were copied by Defendants Khloe Kardashian and her clothing company Good American," the legal missive reads.

In the suit, Lewis claims her designs have been worn by celebrities like Beyonce Knowles, Lady GaGa, and Mariah Carey.

"From November 2016 through May 2017, Kardashian, through her assistants, repeatedly contacted Ms. Lewis and others at d.bleu.dazzled to order at least sixteen made-to-measure garments under the false pretense that these garments were for Kardashian's personal use..." the plaintiff's lawyers state. "At no time did they disclose to Ms. Lewis or anyone at d.bleu.dazz.ed that they were planning to create their own clothing line with similar designs."

"Good American decided it would be easier to knock off the proven designs of an independent designer."

They also claim that their client's efforts to work out an agreement with Kardashian prompted the reality TV star to fire off a cease and desist letter, in which her legal team called Lewis' complaint a "cheap publicity stunt and an attempt by Ms Bleu to get her 15 minutes of fame."
