The reality TV star's family is pushing for capital murder charge for four men involved in the shooting of 17-year-old Giselle Rengifo, while the alleged shooter's sister reportedly brags about it on Instagram.

AceShowbiz - "Cartel Crew" star Betty Idol is grieving over the senseless death of her younger sister GiGi Bratz a.k.a. Giselle Rengifo. On Monday, May 18, GiGi was hanging out at an Airbnb with friends, including a guy whom she was dating, when she was fatally shot.

According to reports, GiGi was seen on FaceTime with her boyfriend, 17-year-old Michael McGowan, until she gave the phone to one of her friends. Suddenly, witnesses say that they heard gunshots and discovered GiGi on the floor with a gunshot to her head.

Four people, including two juveniles and two adults, were detained in relation to the shooting. All four claimed the shooting was accidental, while Michael now faces a charge of manslaughter with a deadly weapon, according to the Miami Herald.

Meanwhile, GiGi's family is pushing for a capital murder charge for the alleged shooter, with Betty claiming that she has evidence that supports her suspicions her friends are not being entirely truthful about what happened. Betty has tried to make contact with her sister's friends who witnessed the incident and says that one of the female friends has been inconsistent with her version of the story.

Betty has also obtained a Snapchat video of the alleged shooter with a loaded gun, reportedly before the shooting. Another video reportedly taken after the shooting showed him posting a picture saying, "I'm going away for a long time," followed with another picture simply saying, "goodbye."

The reality TV star, who is also a cast member on VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta", claims a friend of the shooter alleged in text messages that GiGi did something stupid and got "herself killed" before threatening GiGi's friend.

Betty additionally says that a woman believed to be Michael's sister has been bragging about the shooting on Instagram Live. The same woman posted a video to her page on Thursday, asking to free her brother. "I will do anything I can to help you even if it ruins me," she wrote in the caption of her post.

Remembering her sister, Betty tells The Shade Room, "My sister was such a good girl. She was so sweet, smiling all the time." She also pleads with her sister's friends to tell the truth, "They have to tell the truth. At least our family deserves the truth. It hurts so bad and they just want to laugh on Instagram about it."

Betty has been posting on Instagram a lot about her sister's death. In one of the posts, she said she has been "living a nightmare" since the tragic passing of her sister. Crying for severe punishment for the alleged shooter, she wrote, "This boy shot my sister in the head at close range and is only getting charged with 'MANSLAUGHTER'. This is not manslaughter this is CAPITAL MURDER!"

She went on complaining about the Miami police's handing of the case, writing in another post, "Please help me spread light about my sisters case! The Miami Police aren't doing anything and they're trying to let the person who killed my 17year old sister get away with it. Please!"
