The listing of the estranged couple's Mediterranean-style home comes out just one day after Kristin announced her decision to pull the plug on her hit reality show, 'Very Cavallari'.

AceShowbiz - Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are letting go of their house at a loss as they proceeded with their divorce. One day after she announced that her hit show "Very Cavallari" will not be back for a fourth season, the 33-year-old and her estranged husband put their home in Nashville, Tennessee up for sale below its initial purchase price.

The former couple bought the Mediterranean-style mansion, which is approximately 20,000 square feet in size, in early 2012 for $5.3 million. In 2018, they first listed it for sale with an asking price of $7.9 million, but it did not get any buyers. Now, the twosome cut down the price significantly to just. $4.95 million

Resting on a 8.5-acre spread, the house itself boasts seven bedrooms with seven full bathrooms and three half bathrooms. It has formal living and dining rooms, a double-height library, a high-end kitchen and a wood-paneled lounge. A theater room, professional bar, an outdoor fireplace and an outdoor dining room are among its amenities.

This was not the first time Kristin and Jay offered their house with a price under their original purchase price. The estranged couple bought a mansion of about 11,000 square feet in Lake Forest, Illinois for the price of $4.25 million back in 2014. They, however, sold it only for for $3.6 million three years later.

Kristin and Jay went public with their separation just days after returning to the U.S. from a family vacation in the Bahamas. On April 26, she wrote in and Instagram post, "With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of."

While Kristin initially sought to get primary physical custody of their children, 7-year-old Camden, 5-year-old Jaxon and 4-year-old Saylor, she and Jay avoided bitter custody battle. Since filing for divorce, the two have agreed to share equal custody with their children rotating between them each week.
