The rapper has sparked a speculation that their romance is not in a good space after he went on a Twitter rant on Thursday, May 14, hinting that his girlfriend might have ditched him and moved on with someone who is none other than his friend.
"Obviously, ain mad at u definitely went over sum of u guys pathetic brains...," he posted the cryptic tweet, without naming names. "I feel disrespected," he added, "Ain mad at u for smashing/Fxxxxxx the homie u gotta get it how u live…smh."
Rumors have been floating on the Internet that Future and Lori have broken up shortly before the quarantine began. According to MTO News, the "Turn On the Lights" hitmaker had a Twitter meltdown after learning that Lori has been dating one of his homies. Words are the stepdaughter of Steve Harvey is currently dating an "entertainment executive."
Lori, who has been quarantining at her Hollywood Hills mansion, has not given an update on the status of her relationship with Future for a while. On Wednesday, however, she posted on Instagram a sexy selfie and declared, "imissyou," though she didn't mention whom it was addressed to.
Future and Lori first sparked dating rumors back in October 2019 when people suspected that they were having a date at Nobu, Malibu. The "Life Is Good" hitmaker only confirmed the speculation months later when he took to Instagram Stories to gush over his girlfriend. "Flawless," so he wrote alongside a photo of Lori.
In April, the 36-year-old hip-hop star explained his decision to keep his love relationship private. "It don't bother me. It's just, you know, what to give and you know what not to put out or whatever it is," he said. "You still try and find those different ways to keep it private but some way to give your fans little insights into what is going on in your life."
He went on elaborating, "You get the people in the world who want to know, so you open up a little bit, but you got to save majority for yourself and your partner. Just keeping that spark to yourself, man. Just keep that energy. You have to protect your energy at all costs."
Later in the same month, rumors emerged that he cheated on his girlfriend with plus-size Instagram star Myesha Boulton. A source alleged that their affair occurred after his Jamaican trip with Lori and several of her friends.
According to the source, who claimed that her/his best friend works with Future, the "Life Is Good" spitter took her to a hotel to sleep with her. Meanwhile, Lori was said to be suspcious of his affair and as the result, they were having constant argument. However, the insider noted at the time that the two were still together.
