Jenna insisted her former husband get checked out for Covid-19 over concerns about their daughter Evelyn following his birthday celebration with friends.

AceShowbiz - Channing Tatum reportedly tested negative for coronavirus after ex-wife Jenna Dewan insisted the star get checked out following a dirt biking session with five of his pals.

The "Magic Mike" star, who shares daughter Evelyn, six, with Jenna, invited friends over to celebrate his 40th birthday amid the ongoing Covid-19 crisis.

According to TMZ, Evelyn has been going back and forth between her mum and dad's homes amid the lockdown, but "Flirty Dancing" star Jenna insisted Channing get himself checked out before seeing their daughter after meeting with others.

"Channing recently volunteered to get tested for Covid-19 after his ex-wife, Jenna Dewan, raised some concerns about him possibly being exposed - this following a little birthday get-together he hosted in late April 2020," an insider shared.

It is unclear whether the party followed social distancing measures.

The sources claimed the screen star's friends were in quarantine separately before joining forces to ring in the actor's milestone birthday together last month.

Jenna, 39, welcomed son Callum two months ago with fiance Steve Kazee, which reportedly influenced her former partner's decision to get tested, during which time Evelyn stayed with her mum.

The pair operates on a regular "parenting schedule," which was finalised in February, a few months after their divorce.
