As she applauds the 'Hello' hitmaker for winning her weight battle, the co-host of 'The Talk' admits that she used to hang out with bigger women when she was 100 pounds overweight.

AceShowbiz - Sharon Osbourne has applauded Adele for winning her weight battle, insisting she never believes larger-than-life women when they insist they're happy being fat.

The TV personality, who was once 100 pounds (45.3 kilograms) overweight, was thrilled to see the "Hello" singer's svelte new look, which Adele unveiled on social media recently, and insists no woman is thrilled about being overweight.

Speaking on her U.S. TV show "The Talk", Sharon said, "When these women say that they are really happy in their body I don't believe them. My body was really, really big but I wasn't happy. Sure on the surface, but at night in bed alone, I was very unhappy."

"I totally understand with Adele. It was her time to lose weight, that's all in her journey and her life. She must have felt, you know, 'I am going to try and lose weight for whatever reason' - health I am sure..."

"She looks absolutely fantastic. I am happy for her and everybody should be happy for her, because it was her choice. She didn't do it for anybody else but herself."

Sharon, who is married to rocker Ozzy Osbourne, admits she used to like hanging out with "bigger women" when she was overweight, "I used to feel comfortable when I was with bigger women. I felt like we had something in common. We never spoke about it, but there was this underlying connection we had and I always felt like that."
