The tattoo artist has been booked for murder while still in the hospital after allegedly drunkenly driving a sports car, which crashed in to a street sign and tree on Sunday night, killing the YouTube star.

AceShowbiz - "Ink Master" star Daniel Silva is to be held responsible for Corey La Barrie's death. Hours after news broke of the car accident that killed the YouTube star, the tattoo artist has been arrested and booked for murder related to the fatal car crash.
According to TMZ, Daniel was arrested on Monday night, May 11 while he's still treated for his injuries from the accident in the hospital. The arrest stemmed from the Sunday, May 10 car crash, during which Daniel was behind the wheel with Corey as the passenger.
According to authorities, Daniel lost control of the McLaren sports car, causing it to crash into a street sign and tree in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Valley Village. A press release from the LAPD states Daniel then exited the vehicle and attempted to flee the scene, but was "stopped by citizens who came to render aid."
While the 27-year-old did not suffer life-threatening injuries, Corey did. They were both transported to a nearby hospital, but Corey later succumbed to his injuries. Daniel, meanwhile, is reportedly still being treated for a broken hip.
The incident, tragically, took place on Corey's 25th birthday. According to eyewitnesses, the two guys had earlier that night attended a party to celebrate the YouTube personality's birthday. Sources say people told police that Daniel was seen drinking before going out for a drive with Corey.
Confirming the sad news, Corey's brother Jarrad La Barrie wrote on Instagram on Monday, "This isn't something i thought i would ever have to sit here and type out for a very long time or what i wanna do right now but everyone deserves to know, my brother Corey passed away last night in a car accident with his drunk friend driving."
"This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do I don't know how I'm suppose to do this without you," he continued. "i miss you so much already this isn't fair thank you for always being the best big brother i could ask for i love you so f**king much life's never gonna be the same without you R.I.P."
