After joining social media site TikTok to tackle the challenge, the leading man in'The Two Popes' passes it on to action stars Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

AceShowbiz - Sir Anthony Hopkins has taken on rapper Drake's viral "Tootsie Slide" dance challenge in a bizarre video in which he gives shout outs to Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The "Hannibal" star posted the clip on social media site TikTok, showing off his moves a month after celebrities like Justin Bieber, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and Ciara all jumped on the trend, as the 82-year-old admitted his entry was "better late than never."

The Welsh Oscar winner then appears to call on fellow Hollywood veterans Stallone and Schwarzenegger to get involved in the fun.

Impersonating the "Rocky" actor, Hopkins urges Stallone to create a movie role for him, saying, "Hey, Mr. Stallone, keep writing! Good part for me in it? Gimme a part, major - huh (sic)?"

He then shares a greeting for Schwarzenegger, asking the "Terminator" icon to say hello to his pet donkey, Lulu, before uttering the action man's signature send-off, "I'll be back," and performing a little jig.

"I couldn't even skip when I was a kid," Hopkins remarks, as he then jumps into a boxing stance and seemingly challenges Stallone to a fight.

Stallone and Schwarzenegger have yet to respond to the video, the latest clip of Hopkins' amusing antics during the coronavirus lockdown.

He has gained quite a following on social media in recent weeks, after sharing footage of his painting talents and his ability to play the kazoo, among other surprising skills.
