The Tesla boss ticks his baby mama off as the new mother explains the inspirations behind their newborn son's moniker which left so many people confused.

AceShowbiz - Grimes and Elon Musk have had their first public tiff since becoming new parents earlier this week over her Twitter typos.

The tech mogul felt the need to correct his girlfriend's explanation of their son X Æ A-12's name after she revealed on social media the "A-12" part of his moniker is the "precursor to SR-17 (our favorite aircraft)."

Tesla boss Musk wrote, "SR-71, but yes," and that appeared to tick the new mum off.

She wrote back, "I am recovering from surgery and barely alive so may my typos b forgiven but, damnit... That was meant to be profound (sic)."

Musk replied, "U r a powerful (fairy emoji) (queen emoji)."

As for the rest of the newborn's unusual moniker, the "X" represents "the unknown variable" and "Æ" is the singer's "elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence)." The "A" also represents Grimes' favourite song, Archangel, and the "12" represents the Chinese zodiac sign of the rat.

The couple will have issues registering the name in California, where it lives, as parents can only use the 26 characters of the English language in their baby's name.
