AceShowbiz - Kourtney Kardashian has a strong message for her and Scott Disick's daughter Penelope Disick. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star took to her Instagram account on Monday, May 4 to preach about the importance to love ourselves.
"Love yourself first, chase your dreams, make mistakes (and learn from them), believe in God's plan, you are more beautiful than you will ever know," so the 41-year-old star wrote in the caption alongside a picture of her and P. "and oh so smart, there is no one else like you in the entire world, you are loved. Things I tell my daughter."
"I need to tell myself those same things," a fan said in the comment section. One other praised Kourt, "Your raising strong beautiful and handsome young men and women."
This arrives after her baby daddy Scott checked out to rehabilitation with a report saying that the 36-year-old flew to Colorado from Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 28. A source revealed, "He said he's having trauma from his past, he mentioned trouble with his ex and said he's also having trouble with his children and he's been taking cocaine and drinking a lot."
"He looked pretty skinny and told the group he was coming to rehab to work on his issues and said he was having withdrawal symptoms and was tired and lethargic," the so-called insider went on to spill. "He told staff he didn't want any special treatment during his stay, in terms of meals and therapy."
However, a leaked photo was the last thing Scott wanted to deal in this moment. After a photo of him joining a Zoom group meeting at the All Points North Lodge made its way out online, Scott threatened to sue the rehab facility for violating his privacy. Scott's attorney, Marty Singer, issued a statement on the matter on Monday evening, May 4, saying, "Shockingly, as a result of the HIPA violation of the facility and his violation of privacy, he has checked himself out and is immediately returning home. We are alarmed by this extreme invasion of privacy and plan to take immediate legal action."
Marty also clarified the rumors that Scott sought treatment for cocaine and alcohol abuse. "In an effort to finally come to terms and deal with the pain that Scott has been silently suffering for many years due to the sudden death of his mother, followed by the death of his father 3 months later, Scott made the decision to check himself into a rehab facility last week to work on his past traumas," he explained.
