AceShowbiz - A twerking woman in DJ Khaled's viral video has spoken up after the awkward moment gained a lot of attention due to his reaction. The rapper, who is a married man with two children, stopped the model named Sophia James from dancing for him during the Instagram Live chat.
Speaking to The Shade Room about the viral moment, Sophia said it was a misunderstanding. "I respect DJ Khaled and his beautiful wife and family," she told the news outlet. Believing that her action won't ruin the record executive's marriage to his wife Nicole Tuck, she added, "I'm more than sure to bank his marriage is stronger than an IG live video gone viral."
Sophia also revealed that after the clip circulated online, she has been harassed on social media. On the silver lining of the uncomfortable encounter, the model shared that there have been plenty of people who have slid in her DMs, including a few rappers that she said have been "featured on some of DJ Khaled's recent albums."
During his Instagram Live session on Sunday, April 3, Khaled invited some fans to join for a one-on-one chat. But things quickly turned risque when Sophia seemingly tried to seduce the 44-year-old emcee by twerking in front of the camera.
Wearing a barely-there bra and pink panties with no pants on, she moved the camera to focus on her while she was dancing. Clearly perplexed, Khaled asked her to chill and reminded her that he's got a family.
"No don't do that," Khaled implored. "I got love. But I got a family and everything. I got love. Talk to me normal. Talk to me normal. Don't do that!" But Sophia refused to stop dancing and even made it racier by pouring water on herself. He eventually had had enough and shut down the chat.
Posting the video on his Instagram page, the New Orleans-born star reminded others what not do when they chat with him. He wrote in the caption, "I have love for everyone please take it easy when I'm on fan luv ig luv . Again I have love for everyone please lets be respectful nothing but love BLESS UP !"
