The 'Jersey Shore' star has pleaded no contest to one count of domestic battery and one count of resisting arrest over an incident with ex-girlfriend Jen Harley.

AceShowbiz - "Jersey Shore" star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has avoided jail in his domestic abuse case after copping a plea deal.

The reality TV star has been sentenced to three years of probation after pleading no contest to one count of domestic battery and one count of resisting arrest following an incident with his ex-girlfriend, Jen Harley.

Ronnie will also have to serve community service hours, make a $20,000 (£16,000) contribution to a charity linked to his crime, and complete a 52-week domestic violence programme.

He was originally facing seven charges, including false imprisonment and child endangerment, following his arrest in Las Vegas last year (19).

He was accused of attacking his daughter Ariana's mother and threatening her with a knife before locking and barricading himself and their kid in an AirBnB. Police had to knock down the door to get access.
