The 'Mary Poppins Returns' actor asks his social media followers to pray for his ailing father Luis A. Miranda, Jr. who is struggling with kidney stones.

AceShowbiz - Actor and playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda called on fans to pray for his father after he was hospitalised with kidney stones.
The "Hamilton" creator and former star took to Twitter on Thursday, April 30, 2020 and revealed his dad, Luis A. Miranda, Jr., had to seek emergency treatment after he was no longer able to bear the pain.
"Prayers up for my pops @Vegalteno, in the ER (emergency room) right now for a hernia/kidney stones combo. Held out as long as he could without going to the hospital but here we are," Lin-Manuel posted.
"He's high on pain meds now, send him good thoughts and trippy things. Thx (sic)."
The "Mary Poppins Returns" actor subsequently explained his dad had been discharged but was still dealing with the health problem.
"Update: he's back home, with meds, kidney stones still there, taking it day by day," he shared four hours later. "Thanks to you all for the kindness all day."
