When talking to Ellen DeGeneres on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', the 'Girls Trip' star spills on the embarrassing story, admitting she initially didn't know how the communication app works.

AceShowbiz - Tiffany Haddish has had one embarrassing experience using a webcam conferencing tool amid the coronavirus pandemic. In an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", the "Night School" actress revealed that her inexperience in using Zoom has led to her accidentally being caught using the restroom during a meeting.

The 40-year-old spilled the beans when talking to host Ellen DeGeneres in Wednesday, April 29 episode of the latter's home edition show. "You were in a meeting on Zoom. How in the world did this happen? Explain what you did because you seem like you would have figured this out before you made this mistake," Ellen first brought up the topic, drawing laughter from the funny woman.

Giggling, the "Girls Trip" star admitted she didn't really know how to use the app properly. "I thought whoever is on the front thing is all you can see," she confessed over her lack of knowledge on how to use the app. "I thought I ain't gonna say nothing, but I gotta use the restroom."

"I didn't want to leave the meeting either, so I took the phone with me because I didn't know you could scroll over and everybody could see everybody. I didn't know," Tiffany went on. "I took it with me, started using the bathroom and they were like, 'Tiffany, um, you know we know you're in the restroom, right?' "

On how she reacted to the others' remark, the "Like a Boss" actress shared, "I was like, 'Y'all can see me!?' Needless to say, I sold that show. I sold the show." Laughing, Ellen said in response, "Because they felt so bad for you."

While Ellen sympathized with Tiffany on her show over the embarrassing incident, the 62-year-old host could not help but poke fun of the comedienne's mishap on social media. Posting a clip from the interview on Instagram, she introduced it with a message that read, "Just be glad @TiffanyHaddish isn't on your work Zoom."

Tiffany's experience with online application wasn't always as bad as the Zoom incident. During the chat, she also talked about enjoying virtual date with rapper Common. "I am single, but I'm dating," she gushed. "I've been using Bumble. Bumble started this virtual dating thing and it has been great. I went on a virtual date with Common and it was super fun."
