The hip-hop mogul receives strong criticisms, even from his right-hand man Kenny Burns, after he tells Black Americans not to automatically vote for the Democratic candidate, Biden.

AceShowbiz - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs has been taking the heat following his recent video chat with Naomi Campbell. The hip-hop mogul, who has been vocal about the Rock the Vote and Vote or Die movements for years, has received backlash after urging black people not to give their votes for free.

With Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren out of the race, it's obvious that Joe Biden will face against Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election. But the Bad Boy Entertainment founder told black Americans not to automatically vote for the Democratic candidate, saying that it has to be earned.

"The black vote is not going to be for free," Diddy said in the video, which he posted on his Instagram page on Tuesday, April 28. "We're going to have to see some promises. We're going to have to understand what kind of deal we’re getting. What are we getting in return for our vote?"

Diddy said black Americans should not automatically vote for Biden just because of his party affiliation or because they're afraid of Trump. "In order for us to vote for Biden, we can't be taken for granted like we always are because we're supposed to be Democrats or because people are afraid of Trump," he told his fans.

"Because nothing has changed in America for black America," the 50-year-old rapper went on reasoning. "And I will hold the vote hostage if I had to." He continued, "It's whoever is gonna take care of our community. Whoever wants to make a deal. It's business at this point."

Diddy's statements quickly garnered people's attention, with many blasting him for potentially diving black Americans' voice. Even Kenny Burns, his right-hand man and the Senior Vice President of Brand Development for Combs Enterprises, criticized him, writing below his post, "Puff this statement is VERY Irresponsible at this Point. THE ONLY OPTION IS TO GET TRUMP OUT OF OFFICE. Come on Champ!!! Encouraging People to Stand by is NOT AN OPTION. #VoteOrDie."

But Diddy apparently didn't take Kenny's advice well. The TV and radio host later shared a screengrab of his comment on his own page and claimed that Diddy erased his comment and blocked him from his account.

"WOW @Diddy," a shocked Kenny wrote in the caption. "You erase My Truthful Comment and keep the VOTE FOR TRUMP comments on Your Page. Then You Block Me...lol." He added, "And You're really going to wait til it's 2 Candidates to say that Your Holding 'Our Vote'... Come on Champ! This is NOT Leadership!!! Where were You during the primaries??? What Happened to #VoteOrDie??? TRUMP BEiNG PUT OUT OF OFFiCE iS THE ONLY OPTiON!!! PERiOD."
