The entertainer best known for his Las Vegas show with partner Siegfried Fischbacher is asking for privacy as he recovers from the novel coronavirus, his publicist says in a statement.

AceShowbiz - Roy Horn has become the latest celebrity battling the novel coronavirus. Nearly 17 years after he fought for his life after being mauled by his white Bengal tiger on stage, the one-half of magic duo Siegfried & Roy has been uncovered to have undergone treatment after testing positive for COVID-19.
Sharing the news was a publicist for the 75-year-old performer. In a statement released to ABC News on Tuesday, April 27, the representative said, "We can confirm that Roy Horn has tested positive for the virus that causes COVID-19 and is currently responding well to treatment."
Despite the health issue, Horn and his partner Siegfried Fischbacher still wish the best for others affected by the pandemic. "Most importantly, Siegfried & Roy send positive wishes to everyone impacted by the pandemic," his publicist continued. "We will have no further comment on Roy’s recovery at this time and ask everyone to respect his right to privacy."
The revelation about Horn's condition came less than a month after he and Fischbacher addressed the pandemic in another statement. "Everyone in the United States and around the world impacted by this health crisis remain in our prayers," the entertainment duo said in their joint message.
"We know the real magic in all of us caring, cheering, loving and thanking one another will return everyone to good health and happiness," they added. "We can't wait until it is possible for all of us to hug each other safely again. Love to all, Siegfried & Roy."
Siegfried & Roy are German magicians and entertainers duo who were best known for their Las Vegas show that ran from 1990 until 2003. Their career came to an abrupt halt after Horn got attacked by one of their white tigers named Mantecore during a show at the Mirage Resort and Casino back in October 2003. Though insisting that the big cat had no intentions to harm him, Horn was badly injured, leaving him partly paralyzed.
