The 'Big Little Lies' actress recalls her infamous DUI arrest when she lost her cool with cops and tried to intimidate them with her celebrity status back in 2013.

AceShowbiz - Reese Witherspoon is still "embarrassed" over her 2013 arrest for driving under the influence.
The Oscar-winning actress and her husband Jim Toth were arrested after he was pulled over by a cop under the suspicion of DUI, and Reese was put into handcuffs on a disorderly conduct charge after she disobeyed an officer's order to stay in the car.
Jim pleaded guilty to first offence DUI.
Speaking on Jameela Jamil's "I Weigh" podcast, the actress opened up about the incident as Jameela praised for the way she responded to the headlines.
At the time, "The Morning Show" actress appeared on "Good Morning America" and owned up to her mistakes, admitting, "It's just completely unacceptable and we are so sorry and embarrassed. I think we made a mistake and it was something that will absolutely never happen again… We know better and we shouldn't have done that."
Jameela said about that interview, "You apologised and shamed yourself in a way that was so f**king refreshing to me."
"But, I did something really stupid," the "Big Little Lies" star explained. "It was so embarrassing and dumb. But, you know what - turns out I breathe air. I bleed the same way. I make dumb decisions. I make great decisions. I'm just a human being."
During the chat, the star also revealed she battled "severe postpartum depression" after becoming a mum, admitting she "had to take pretty heavy medication because I just wasn't thinking straight at all."
