AceShowbiz - This year marks the first Easter that Vanessa Bryant and her family celebrated without Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna Bryant, who died in tragic helicopter crash. However, it seemed like Vanessa and her three daughters, Natalia, Bianka and Capri, made the most of the somber weekend with an adorable video.
Posted on Vanessa's Instagram account, the clip showed Bianka donning pink pajamas while trying to crack an easter egg with a hammer. Baby Capri, meanwhile, could be seen watching them closely and somehow got surprised by the loud sound.
After they cracked the egg, Bianka seemed excited for the "treats." She pulled out a chocolate ball from inside, and adorably asked, "Can I eat?"
"Easter Treats! Bianka & Capri," so Vanessa wrote in the caption. She also thanked famous florist, Jeff Leatham, who sent them the gift.
Fans were gushing over the baby girls. "Her girls are keeping her going. I'm thankful for that," one fan said in an Instagram comment. Someone, meanwhile, noted that "Capri looks just like GiGi. too cute," with one other writing, "Forever praying for her and her girls!"
"I know their kids are giving her strength during her hard times. God bless their family," one fan wished them well. Another comment read, "Prayers to Vanessa and RIP to KOBE Gigi and all the other lives lost."
However, one fan admitted that she couldn't help but "feel sad when I think about them. Happy to see the children remain so innocent!" Meanwhile, someone else thought the kids "are so adorable. giving me baby fever."
Kobe and Gianna, along with seven other people, died on January 26 after the helicopter they were travelling in crashed in Calabasas, California. Two weeks later, they were laid to rest in a private ceremony at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, California. A Celebration of Life event was later held at the Staples Center with Beyonce Knowles, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Jimmy Kimmel and Michael Jordan among the attendees.
