The 'Get On Your Feet' singer teams up with a pharmacy giant to make sure her restaurant and hotel employees have a new job during the coronavirus lockdown.

AceShowbiz - Gloria Estefan has helped her restaurant and hotel staff find employment during the lockdown by linking up with bosses at pharmacy firm CVS/Navarro.

The singer reached out to the company as soon as it looked like the coronavirus would shutter Miami, Florida's hotels and diners, and made sure staff would not be out of work.

The "Get On Your Feet" singer, who owns several restaurants and two hotels tells "The Talk", "We were the first ones shut down, so we teamed up with CVS/Navarro... who were looking for more employees - they needed more people to meet the demand."

"All of our employees are vetted and have great background checks... and they took on our employees... We are so thankful to keep them working."

"We're trying to hang on to every employee to try to get through this moment. It's a tough time for all the business owners out there... Things will pop back... I think it will take a while... but we'll just get through it. We gotta move forward. That's all we can do."
